Prince (page)
From IGwiki
The Prince page is the page you always see when you enter the game. It's also the one with the most information. It's divided into sections.

[edit] Message boxes
At the top of the page you may notice yellow boxes which can tell you any of the following:
- Messages from the developers
- Fleet actions you are currently involved in
- Results of card draws / actions done on this page
[edit] Your information
The first section is not boxed. To the left it shows your avatar (image). This is how your character looks in the game. You decided how they looked as one of your first actions. If you dislike this image, you can change it with a Bodysculpt card from the Healing Deck To the right of this image is your character's current personal information. This includes:
- Your name (in bold)
- Your current rank (not your position in the fleet) and any specialisations you may have
- Your rank in your Order, if you are in one
- Your position in the fleet you are currently in and its name
- The medals you have been awarded (if any)
- Your Familiar (if you have one)
- Your Sidearm (if you have been awarded one)
- Your Proficiencies (if you have any)
This section is also where you can increase your Proficiencies if you have any unused Proficiency Cards.
[edit] Your status
This is the first box. It has information such as:
Your fleet percentage is based on the maximum number of ranks you can have in your fleet, versus how many you actually have. So a rank 2 fleet commander with two rank 1s under his command will have Fleet 80% - 2+1+1 out of a possible 2+1+1+1. At higher ranks, this number tends to drop a lot, because completely full fleets are hard to maintain
- Flagship percentage
Your ship percentage is based on your ship’s strength, out of a possible three Imperial Guard modules. Damage to your ship shows here as well
- Uniform percentage
Your uniform is also shown based on a possible five Pristine uniform pieces
- Uniform status
For example, if you're missing a piece (your uniform is incomplete) or if it gives you any bonuses (you have a complete Ceremonial Uniform. You gain bonuses on drawing rewards)
[edit] Mission success and promotion percentage
The next box shows your mission/promotion status. At each rank, you have a static amount you must overcome to promote. This is equal to negative rank*100%. So at rank 3 you will begin with a -300% chance of promotion. This number will decrease daily, by 100% per week (about 14% per day). Each completed mission (from reducing an enemy's rank or colour) contributes 0.5%, and missions lower rank than you are combine together (two cards of rank n combine to one card of rank n+1). So if you are rank-4 and you beat five rank-3s and two rank-2s, your rank-2 mission cards will combine into a rank 3 mission card. Then your six rank 3 mission cards will combine into three successful rank-4 missions. This will contribute 1.5% to your promotion. If you have specialisations, this is added to your rank to determine the level mission success you need for promotion; thus a Grand Admiral of the Imperial Fleet with one specialisation needs Mission Success R11 cards to promote, which can only be gained through combining lower cards.
Additionally, you can gain qualifications. These come in the form of Survey Qualifications (Probe Success deck), as well as Command (from Fleet Victories deck), and Combat (from the Combat deck). Your first qualification gives you 5% towards promotion, and each additional one of the same form gives you 1%. So 34 Probe qualifications will give you a 38% bonus to promotion. Get a Command Qualification and you get an additional 5%. Another possible qualification is the Emperor's Commendation.
To increase in rank, you need to get a Promotion Exam card.
[edit] CB rate
Your next box down breaks down what bonus Command Bandwidth you receive each day, and gives suggestions on how to increase it per day. This bonus is added to your current CB appears 24 hours after you join, and every 24 hours after that. You get bonuses from having a certain number of friends playing, as well as exploring and clearing out areas around your base. You usually only need to explore/clear out 75-90% of the area to qualify. The total bonus is listed at the bottom of this box.
[edit] Command Bandwidth
Below this is your current level of Command Bandwidth, with which you do everything. This box also has links to useful parts of the Star Map (such as where you were fighting last).
[edit] Card list
Beneath this is your card list. This shows all the cards in your hand. Clicking on the section name will open up a list of all cards included in it.
- Duelling cards currently don’t do anything. They can be combined to other types of cards, however.
- Flagship cards will help you return and requisition, repair, refit (completely repair), upgrade, and do other things to your ship.
- Fleet cards are similar to Flagship cards, but they affect your subcommanders as well.
- Healing cards heal you of injuries in battle. If you are injured, you will be notified under your picture on the Prince page, and will have an option to heal yourself. Battle Surgery heals one wound, Cellular Regeneration heals all wounds, and Personality Backup prevents you from losing everything when you die.
- Miscellaneous cards are things like Promotion, Proficiency, and Wormhole cards. Wormhole cards allow you to ‘recon’ areas of space you have no probed systems around. Be careful though, as you might recon yourself into a red R10 system accidentally and get slaughtered. Proficiency cards are stored here.
- Module cards. They act like Flagship cards, but on individual modules. Space Junk acts like a R+R Module except it will replace it with a random module of any quality, including special / rare / unique modules.
- Uniform cards, which are again like Flagship cards. They do not affect pieces you are wearing (except Uniform Refit), and so you may have to unequip your items for some of them to work.
It also contains a handy drop down list for trading cards you are not using into other cards!
[edit] Priests and acolytes
Beneath your card hand is a box with a list of Priests and Acolytes under your command. They don’t do anything at the moment, but from what it sounds like in the sample chapter (you can find under Help) they will be very useful later on.
[edit] Cards by spending CB
Lastly, at the bottom, is a list of decks you can draw from by spending CB. It also has a drop down list in which you can spend CB to get handy cards such as promotion exam and uniform upgrade. The Help section of Imperial Galaxy shows what cards can be drawn from those decks. You can also check out the Card Deck page. Also in the box is an option to switch between Public and Private privacy setting. Public is not so much Public as it allows your friends’ friends to see your Imperial Galaxy profile (but not your Facebook profile).
